Embark in your exclusive Houseboat with fully furnished bedroom, attached bathroom, living room, etc. You will have your exclusive chef who will prepare tasty meals and seafood for you.

Your houseboat trip makes you experience this very unique thing. While sitting on the deck of your houseboat or while sitting in the spacious open sit-out area, outside your bedroom, you can see the people starting their day. Among the many interesting things which you can see in the day long journey, few which I am sure would catch your attention are:

  • Children being taught the swimming lessons right at their door-step.
  • Children going to school in little boats.
  • Vendors selling cold-drinks and other grocery items in the boats.
  • Families moving from one place to another in the houseboat, etc.

Houseboat trip is the perfect way to experience the backwater lifestyle of Kerala. Your journey in the beautiful backwaters of Kerala is the only way to explore what otherwise seems more like a poet’s version. During the day, you will be served delicious meals prepared by your chef and his assistants.

For the whole day you will be moving over the backwater canals witnessing every aspect of backwater lifestyle in a leisurely manner. You have the discretion to ask your boat to be moored at any point you find appealing.  By the evening, your boat will get moored close to one of the villages, located by the backwaters. You can surely take a tour of this small village.

Please Note: The check in time at the houseboat is 12.30 PM in the noon. The boat remains stationary from at around 06.00 P.M. in the evening to 06.00 A.M. the next morning. The AC of the houseboat functions during the night only. The check out time is 09.00 A.M.

take a short sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi area which would include your visit to Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing nets.

Close-by to the Chinese Fishing Nets, the local fishermen put a fish market where the purpose remains to sell all the stock they have so that they do not need to carry anything back home. It’s a very interesting market as it has almost all variety of sea food available and that too at a throw-away price. Interestingly, you can select any fish or any other sea food here and may ask them to prepare it fresh, right in front of your eyes and can relish it right there & then. Believe me, it’s an experience in itself.
