09 Nights & 10 Days [Amritsar – Dalhousie – Dharamshala – Manali – Shimla – Chandigarh]
Welcome to IncredibleIndia! The very first day will begin with your arrival in Amritsar airport. We will remain present at the arrival lounge [with chauffer in a mint condition] of Amritsar airport and would be holding a placard in your name.You will be received and welcomed as traditional way. After welcome you will transfer to your hotel. On arrival, check in at your hotel and rest at hotel.
Later Evening you will be transferred to the Golden Temple to experience a very interesting evening ceremony in which Guru Granth Sahib (The holy book of Sikhs) is carried overhead by a holy man to AkalTakht (the holy seat of Sikh Panth). Stay night in Amristar hotel.
Breakfast at hotel then after proceed to enjoy the again visit of Golden Temple - the most sacred temple for Sikhs and enshrines the Holy Book of the Sikhs, the Guru Granth Sahib. It sits on a rectangular platform in the centre of the Amrit Sarovar lake and Jallianwala bagh - Here lies the memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massa cre by British General Dyer. Also visit Wagha Border (the only official crossing between India and Pakistan at present). Particularly interesting is the day closing ceremony when the flags of both the countries are brought down. After breakfast drive to Dalhousie, drive to Dalhousie with the mesmerizing view of Himalayan Mountain Ranges, afternoon arrive at Dalhousie, check in to hotel and After some rest proceed to sightseeing tour of Dalhousie quietly ensconced amidst pine trees with a charming background of the snow clad Himalaya, St. Francis Church, Bakrota Hills, Subhash Bowly, Panjpulla/Panchpula, Dainkund. If time allow refresh free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Dalhousie town The Mall at Gandhi Chowk. Stay night at Dalhousie hotel.
After breakfast drive for and Khajjiar – Drive to Khajjiar visit Khajji Lake – Khajjiar is also known as mini Switzer Land of India. It is the most exotic and scenic beauty place around 24 Km from Dalhousie. Khajjiar is officially proclaimed the miniSwitzerland of India. At an altitude of 6450 ft, this saucer shaped green meadow, ringed by Devadar Trees has a lake in the middle complete with floating island. And Continued drive to Chambha visit Chamba, visit to Chamunda Mata Temple, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Bhuri Singh Museum and Chowgan. After drive to Dharamshala, Arrival and Stay night at Dharamshala hotel.
Visit Bhagsunag Falls: At a distance of 2 km from upper town of Dharamshala, Kangra Art Museum, War Memorial, St. John's Church & Dal Lake: The Lake is located next to the Tibetan Children's village 3 Km away from Mcleodganj. This is a small lake surrounded by Deodar trees. After that proceed to visit Dharamshala attraction places. overnight at Daramshala hotel
After breakfast check out from Dharamshala hotel and drive to Manali en route visiting Palampur – Palampur is a famous town for its plantation of tea and green hill station in the Kangra Valley in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by tea gardens and pine forests. After that Continued drive to Manali, on arrival Check into hotel, rest of day at hotel,
Then after enjoy the visits of HADIMBA TEMPLE: Manali has many attractions but the chief centre of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the DHOONGRI TEMPLE dedicated to goddess Hadimba, the Bhim of Mahabharat fame. It has four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. This temple located amidst wooden forest of deodar is about 2.5 kms. from the tourist office. MANU TEMPLE: 3 kms. from the main bazar in old Manali lies the temple of MANU RISHI. It is believed that this is the only temple of Manu in India, who was the creator of human race on the earth. Breakfast at hotel then after take an excursion to Rohtang pass or Solang Valley. ROHTANG PASS (3979 m): Rohtang pass is 51kms. from Manali on highway to Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular Mountain View. The pass is open from June to October each year although trekkers can cross it earlier. It is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley just as Zojila pass is a gatway to Ladakh. SOLANG VALLEY: 13 kms. is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Evening return back to hotel. Stay overnight at Manali hotel
After breakfast at hotel than drive to Shimla, and check-in to hotel. after rest enjoy the visiting Himachal State Museum: Very close to the Institute, in a colonial building set in spacious lawns, is the museum. free to explore the Mall Road on your own activities. Stay overnight at Shimla hotel
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Shimla and visit to most famous tourist places of Shimla like Sankat Mochan Temple, Kali Bari Temple, Jakhu Hills/Temple, visit Indira Gandhi Tourist Bungalow, Fagu and Naldehra. Evening return back to Shimla and visit to Scandal Point, Vice Regal Lodge and Christ Church. Later free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla city at The Mall & The Ridge. (If Time Allow visit Chail visit the Sai Temple, Chail Palace/Museum, Highest cricket ground of the world, Chail Sanctuary, later explore Chail local market) Overnight stay at Shimla hotel.
After early breakfast and Straight Drive to Chandigarh, Arrival Chandigarh (If time Allow visit Rock Garden, Rose Garden, other Local Attractions and on time drop at Airport for your departure flights for your onward Journey... End of Services!!!!
